This privacy policy explains what information this website does and does not collect when you use the Bar Bending Schedule calculator and read the associated guides. We've kept it plain and short because the tool itself is deliberately simple.

Your project data stays on your device

The calculator runs entirely in your web browser. The projects you create — bar marks, dimensions, schedules, company details and any logo you upload — are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. This information is not transmitted to, or stored on, any server we control. If you clear your browser data, or use a different browser or device, that project data will not be available.

What we don't do

• We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal details to use the calculator.
• We do not upload, collect, or sell your schedules, dimensions or company information.
• We do not display advertising within the calculator.

Third-party libraries

To generate Excel and PDF exports, the calculator loads a small number of open-source JavaScript libraries from a public content delivery network (CDN) the first time you use those features. When your browser requests those files, the CDN provider may log standard request information (such as your IP address and browser type) as part of delivering the file, in line with their own policies. No project data is sent in these requests — only the request for the library file itself.

Analytics and hosting

Depending on how this site is hosted, the hosting provider may keep standard server access logs (for example, IP address, pages requested and timestamps) for security and operational purposes. If website analytics are enabled by the site operator, this section should be updated to name the analytics provider and describe what is collected.

Operator note: if you deploy this site with an analytics tool (e.g. a privacy-focused analytics service) or advertising, update this section and the "cookies" section below to reflect what is actually in use, and add a cookie/consent banner if your jurisdiction requires one.

Cookies

The calculator itself does not set tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage purely to remember your saved projects between visits — this stays on your device and is not a tracking mechanism.
